How to Make Windows Explorer Simulate "My Computer"

By default, when you click on Windows Explorer, it opens with "Libraries" displayed in the window. Personally, I don't find this behavior all that helpful. I'm usually wanting to click on a drive, or something like that. Yes, I know that I could add the places that I want to go to a library (or create a new library), but then that would just end up filled with so many places that it'd become unusable (or at least unhelpful). And besides, I can always click on on "Libraries" if I really want.
Maybe I'm just "old school", but I want a "My Computer"-like view. Maybe I'm just "old", lol.
Anyway, to make Windows Explorer display a "My Computer"-like view, here's the steps to follow:
- Right-click the icon in the (Windows 7) Task Bar
- Right-click the Windows Explorer icon that appears in the jump list
- Select Properties
- In the Target field, change %windir%\explorer.exe to %windir%\explorer.exe ""
- Click OK, and you're done
From now on, when you click on the Windows Explorer icon on the Task Bar I get my desired view.
If you have some other place that you always want Windows Explorer to go to each time you click on it, you could put the path to that folder inside the quotes.
%windir%\explorer.exe "E:\Development\Projects", for example.

Brilliant tip Yann! I thought I was the only one who doesn't like those stupid libraries!
Thanks
